On June 14th the University of Toledo announced that Jenny Coluccio would become the new Women’s Golf Team Head Coach. Coluccio comes to the Rockets from the University of Illinois, where she served as an assistant for five years.

In February, the previous Women’s Head Golf Coach, Nicole Hollingsworth resigned her post and an interim coach was named.

Last year the Illini women had four golfers earn All-Big Ten honors and set 13 school records. Illinois tied for second place at the Big Ten Championships, its best showing since 1976, and set a team scoring average for the third year in a row.

Originally from Springfield Missouri, Coluccio earned her bachelor’s degree from Drury University and a masters’ degree in educational administration from Dakota Wesleyan in 2010.

She was also the Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach at NCAA Division II University of Sioux Falls.
