& Bear, plus the Slammer & Squire. They are collaborative designs by four Hall of Fame members, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Sam Snead, and Gene Sarazen. Any trip to Florida must include at least a couple of days inOrlando. Not only does the area have exceptional golf opportunities, but the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Universal and a host of water parks and other attractions offer fun for the whole family. The next stop on the “Florida Swing” needs to include the PGA Golf Club at Port St. Lucie. It features four great golf courses, the Pete Dye, that underwent an extensive renovation in 2016, the Ryder Course, renovated this year, the Wanamaker and the St. Lucie Trail. The Dye Course is one of the very best in Florida, the updating done by superintendent, Dick Gray and his staff made the course pop. The greens were expanded to their original dimensions, plus fairways and tees received new seeding. The bunkering on the Dye course is some of the best you will see anywhere. It is one of my favorite courses in all of Florida. The Ryder Course also received a complete overhaul. Although it is not as challenging as the Dye Course, it offers an enjoyable golf experience.
