courses at PGA Golf Club, the Wanamaker and the St. Lucie Trail, are always well maintained and kept in top- notch condition. Another feature of the PGA Golf Club is the 36-acre practice facility. National golf teams, top amateurs and professionals from around the world, come to Port St. Lucie to use the facility. A driving range, short-game area, putting area, several practice bunkers, with various types of sand, and a par-3 course, are all available for use and can be accessed for a surprisingly low daily fee. Port St. Lucie is also the home of the NY Mets for Spring training. Play golf, get some sun and watch a baseball game. PGA Golf Club at Port St. Lucie is a home run. A little farther south, the Palm Beaches area seemingly has a golf course in every block, plus a stop at historic Seminole will leave you thoroughly impressed. Ben Hogan spent time every March practicing on Seminole’s challenging greens, to prepare for the Masters. It is a magical place. PGA National Golf Club is a full-scale resort with four great golf courses, a spa, excellent dining and various accommodations from a hotel to condominiums. The PGA of America offices are also located just outside the gates of PGA National. The Champions Course, at PGA National Golf Club, is always one of the most difficult stops on the PGA Tour.
