After a tour of the castle’s majestic gardens, I played nine holes at the nearby Leeds Castle Golf Club near -AIDSTONE 4HE NEXT NIGHT WAS spent at the Stable Courtyard "ED "REAKFAST LOCATED NEXT to the 900-year-old Leeds Castle, “the loveliest castle in the world.” Day three included 18 holes at Littlestone Golf Club and a second 18 at Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club. Littlestone, which overlooks the nearby English Channel, was one of THE ÚNAL QUALIFYING VENUES FOR the2011OpenChampionship. Royal Cinque Ports hosted The Open Championship in 1909 and again in 1920. As for most seaside links courses, strong coastal breezes off the nearby English Channel added to the challenge. Day four provided a second consecutive day of 36-hole play starting with Royal St. George’s followed by 18 holes at Prince’s Golf Club.
