Cleveland State Men Cleveland State won their ÚFTH CONSECUTIVE (ORIZON League championship LAST SEASON AND QUALIÚED for the NCAA Regional Tournament once again. With the departure of men’s assistant coach John Powers, Stever Weir was named Director of Golf, as well as, Head Men’s Coach with Mitchell Moore named Head Women’s Coach. The Vikings are in a youth movement, with two freshmen joining the squad, They will compete for playing time with three sophomores and two seniors. They opened the fall season 13 th out of 18 teams at the Turning Stone Intercollegiate and ninth out f 15 teams at the Raising Cane EKU Intercollegiate. Next on the schedule for CSU is the Firestone Intercollegiate, Tom Tontimonia Invitational and Dayton Flyer Invitational. Rayna Oosterhuis is the only senior on this year’s women’s team and is joined by two juniors, three sophomores and two freshmen. They opened the fall campaignwith A THIRD PLACE ÚNISH AT HE 2OSEANN Schwartz Invitational, eighth at the Cardinal Classic and sixth at the Golden Grizzly Invitational. They will play in two more events in October at the Shirley Spork Invitational and the MAC Preview.
