Sets Dates for Clinics Ohio Girls Golf Foundation The Ohio Girls Golf Foundation has set the schedule for thei r Spring Clinics with new locations added to benefit more girl s ages, 8 to 18 years old.Taught by PGA and LPGAProfessionals , theclinicsaregearedtoinform,educateandexpandknowledg e in all aspects of golf. Girls, who participate in the Spring Clinics, are eligible to tak e part intheongoinginstructionprogramwithPGAProfessionals , partially funded by the Foundation. Golf is Being Taught in over 13,000 Schools Nationwide In a recent study by the National Golf Foundation they found that more than 10,000 elementary schools have The First TeeNational School Program, plus theTGA Premier Golf program is in another 3,400 schools and facilities. Many other schools are teaching golf in physical education classes. This early introduction to golf can only be positive for golf’s continuation into future years. Research has proven that exposing children early in life positively influences their perceptions about golf and generates interest in the game.
