The membershi p represents a broad range of physical disabilities including, strokes survivors, amputees, traumatic brain injuries, blindness, arthritis, cerebral palsy, plus many other forms of physical challenges. In addition, local Cleveland-area organizations, Youth Challenge, Veterans Hospital, Cleveland Sight Center, Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, Hanson House and the Wounded Warriors Project also utilize The Turn for their on-course rehabilitation through recreation and sports programs. Through a partnership with the Cleveland Clinic, members have access to a physical therapist, which can not only improve their golf, but help maximize their daily living activities. In 2012 the facilities were renovated to create a unique indoor environment, which allows members to enjoy year-round golf and wellness at The Turn. The North Olmstead Golf Club is owned and operated by The Turn with the goal to offer an accessible golf course for every age and skill level. Single-rider, adjustable golf carts are available for use. This experiment in making golf accessible to everyone has allowed many to come back to t h e Ohio Golf Course Welcomes Physically Disabled Golfers
