Golf Pride Introduces Concept Helix H ave you ever wondered why no one has come up with an easier answer to regripping golf clubs? Golf Pride has broken the DaVinci Code and now every golfer can change their own grips. No need for a vice chuck, tape, or solvent, simply use the internal friction torque mechanism that slides inside the shaft and ‘Voila’ you are ready to hit the links. Regripping golf clubs has always been a giant hassle, even with the correct vise and workbench. The solvent in those squeeze bottles always seem to leak, so you need a paint tray to catch it. Plus, you need to make sure you have the grip tape applied correctly for the grip to slide over and adhere to. It always seemed easier to spend a few bucks to have your local pro do the work for you. Golf Pride wants to cut out the hassle and has devised a unique way to do just that. At their Global Innovation Center in Pinehurst, North Carolina they developed the Concept Helix grip. By Ed Travis
