SECOND NINE WAS ADDED IN WITH (AROLD 0ADDOCK LISTED AS THE ARCHITECT 4HAT SAME YEAR THE -OUNT $ORA 7OMENmS 'OLF Association was formed. 4HE CLUBHOUSE WAS EXPANDED TO ITS PRESENT SIZE IN BUT THE CLUB OPERATED WITHOUT A GENERAL MANAGER UNTIL $OUG 0ASSEN WAS HIRED IN 7HILE TREES WERE PLANTED IN A BUSY SEASON ALMOST ALL WERE LOST WHEN THREE HURRICANES #HARLIE &RANCIS AND *EAN HIT THE COURSE IN 4HROUGH IT ALL THE -OUNT $ORA 'OLF #LUB SURVIVED WITH THEIR SMALL GREENS AND TIGHT FAIRWAYS "ACK TO BACK PAR S .OS AND WERE FOUND TO BE SERIOUS CHALLENGES /NE PLAYS UPHILL WHILE THE NEXT DROPS BACK DOWN THE HILL WITH STEEP ELEVATION CHANGES GOING BOTH directions.
