A s the country begins to re-awaken after being asked to shelter-in-place for two months, golf courses and resorts are once again opening their doors to visitors. They have all instructed their staffs on necessary safety protocols to keep guests safe while visiting their resorts. One side effect of the COVID-19 pandemic is that travelers may be somewhat reluctant to jump on an airplane and fly to a distant golf destination. Driving vacations may be preferred this summer and being located in Ohio, we have many options for nearby golf resorts. With 600 golf courses, Ohio is loaded with great golf. Wherever you are located in the state, you will have an opportunity to take a day trip to visit an outstanding course or book a room and find a stay and play option. In Northwest Ohio, the Arthur Hills Golf Trail offers several golfing options and can help you find appropriate lodging and food options. If you want to travel outside of Ohio, West Virginia has Oglebay, the Greenbrier and Glade Springs to name just a few of the outstanding golf available in the Mountaineer State.
