Ohio Golf Association to Hold Championships TheOhioGolfAssociation is slated tohold a full slate of qualifiers and championships. The Ohio Amateur is scheduled for July 13-17 and will be held at Columbus Country Club. Six qualifiers are to be held around the state throughout June. The Ohio Senior Amateur will be hosted by Toledo Country Club June 23-25. The Ohio Junior Amateur will be held at Windmill Lakes Golf Club July 7-9. The Ohio Mid-Amateur is to be contested August 24-26, at Springfield Country Club and the Ohio Two-Man Best Ball will be held at Brookside Country Club, September 14-15. For more details visit the OGA website: https://www.ohiogolf.org/events/oga Northern Ohio PGA Results The Northern Ohio PGA Section finally was able to kick off its 2020 season with a stroke play event sponsored by Golf Max and Golf Pride at Kirtland Country Club on Monday, June 1. Tyler McHugh, from Fox Den Golf Course shot a two-under- par 68 to win the event. Collin Slattery, from The Country Club, finished runner-up, two shots back and Gary Robison, of Brookside Country Club carded a 71 to finish third. The Senior Division was won by Tom Atchison, Salem Golf Club with a score of 69. GolfTec’s Gary Rusnak was second with a score of 70.
