G olf destinations such as the Greenbrier, Pebble Beach, Bandon Dunes and Pinehurst garner wide acclaim as must- play, or the best in the nation. However, Southern Indiana is the home of the French Lick Resort and it need not take a back seat to any other vacation spot in the country. French Lick has a storied history and has been providing the finest accommodations for its guests since 1845. It has changed over the years, but one thing has remained constant, French Lick guests can be assured they will receive the finest service and amenities available. World-class golf, relaxing spas, excellent dining, and a complete casino are just a few of the options available at French Lick. French Lick Resort has been forced to cancel the two professional golf tournaments it hosts every year. The Senior LPGA Championship and the Symetra Tour’s Donald Ross Championship were both cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic, but that hasn’t stopped golfers from playing the two outstanding courses at the French Lick Resort. Indiana allowed courses to remain open if they meet certain safety protocols. French Lick has complied with all regulations and endeavors to make golfers safe at the Pete Dye, Donald Ross, and Valley Links courses. In fact, Dave Harner, Director of Golf Operations at French Lick, created a video outlining the French Lick Resort Has the BEST of Everything touch points on a golf cart that must be disinfected after every use.
