PGA TOUR superstar Dustin Johnson recently made a dramatic expansion to the teaching facility at TPC and offers the most modern teaching and qualified staff in the area. Myrtle Beach also hosts the biggest tournament in golf with over 3,000 entrants annually. The Myrtle Beach World Amateur Handicap Championship is a 72-hole amateur tournament offering over $100,000 in prizes, and features the World’s Largest 19th Hole. The 2020 World Amateur Handicap is scheduled for August 31-September 4. This year’s tournament is expected to be held and entries are being accepted.
