Eagles Landing was built by Brian Huntley and opened for play in 1997. Wide fairways accommodate bombers, but the undulating greens surrounded by deep bunkers provide the challenge. Being located near the lake, wind is normally an issue to be considered when pulling every club. The course is always in great shape and provides a fun round for every visitor. One of the best deals in golf is that a membership at either Eagles Landing, or Riverby Hills includes play at both clubs, as well as, a third course, Woodland Golf Club, near Urbana, which is also owned by the Long family. Three courses for one low membership fee, what a deal! If you want to combine a golf trip for your buddy’s group, or girl’s golf getaway that will provide a diverse set of courses, but still be easy to reach, Riverby Hills, Eagles Landing and Woodland will meet your requirements and leave you more than satisfied.
