BOYNE Resort Continues Improvements In their continuing endeavor to offer the best golf experience, BOYNE Resorts has contracted noted golf course designer, Ray Hearn to complete the master plan for each hole at the Moor course, with special attention to the areas surrounding the greens. He is also completing restoration work at the Donald Ross Memorial Course, plus will build an upscale par three course near the Highland Resort Hotel. Hearn resides in Holland, Michigan and was born and raised in Detroit. He attended Michigan State and his firm Raymond Hearn Golf Course Designs just celebrated its 25th anniversary. Pinehurst Resort Adds Historic Magnolia Inn The Pinehurst Resort has agreed to acquire The Magnolia Inn, plus the Villaggio Ristorante & Bar. The Magnolia opened in 1896, less than one year after Pinehurst was founded. It is Golf News & Notes
