Ohio’s Jason Kokrak Partners With Kevin Na to Win QBE Ohio native, Jason Kokrak has been on a fantastic hot streak! After not winning on the PGA TOUR for eight years, he recorded three individual wins, over the past 13 months. Plus, last month, he combined with Kevin Na to win the QBE Shootout, a two-man team event, at the Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida. The QBE, formerly the Shark Shootout, featured 20 twoman teams competing for a total purse of $3.6 million, with $447,000.00 being shared by the winners. In the final round four-ball on Sunday, Kokrak and Na started the day three shots behind the leaders. Beginning with Na holing putts from everywhere on the front side, Kokrak picked up the pace on the back nine and they birdied 12 of the final 13 holes to edge the team of Billy Horschel and Sam Burns by a single stroke. Both Kokrak and Na now reside in Las Vegas, play practice rounds together and share the same coach, Drew Steckel. Kokrak finished 2021 at No. 21 in the Official World Golf Ranking and heads into 2022 looking for a major title to add to his resume. Ohio Golf Journal
