Country Music Star Eric Church to Perform at Memorial The Memorial Tournament presented by Workday, an official PGA TOUR event founded and hosted annually by Jack Nicklaus, announced that 2020 Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year and 10-time GRAMMY nominee Eric Church will headline the 2022 edition of the Tournament’s annual benefit concert, Thursday, June 2, at KEMBA Live! in Columbus. Since its inception, the benefit concert has raised more than $800,000 for Nationwide Children’s thanks to the continued support from NetJets, who joined the benefit concert in 2018; IGS Energy, now entering its 12th year as the concert’s title sponsor; and City of Dublin, which has backed the event from its start in 2007. The 2022 Memorial Tournament presented by Workday is scheduled for May 30 – June 5 at Muirfield Village Golf Club. Kids 18 and under can attend the Tournament for free with a ticketed adult. Daily practice round tickets for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are also available. The cost is $45.00 and they are valid for all three practice-round days. Seven Ohio Golfers Qualify Advance to Regional U.S. Open Qualifier Seven golfers led by Jackson Chandler qualified to advance to Final Round Qualifying for the 122nd U.S. Open that will be held at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts, June 16-19. Final U.S. Open qualifiers will be held in Ohio on June 6 in Columbus at Kinsale Golf Club and Wedgewood Golf Club, as well as Springfield Country Club.
