Evans Scholars provide full-ride college scholarships for former caddies. Each candidate is required to address the selection committee comprised of former Evans Scholarship winners and interested parties. The 2023 Evans Selection Committee meeting was held at Scioto Country Club and the following candidates were interviewed on their merits to be awarded a scholarship to either the Miami University, or the Ohio State University. These candidates have completed a minimum number of loops as a caddie at their sponsoring club, have performed at a high level in the classroom and have a financial need to attend college. The Evans Scholarship is a life-changing event for a student, who might not otherwise be able to attend college, if not for the help of the Evans Scholarship.
