NOPGA WELCOMES LASHUNDA LEE AS PGA HOPE AMBASSADOR Lashunda Lee graduated from Shaw High School in 1996 and immediately enlisted in the army. She had no idea that her military service would one day make her the perfect candidate to become a PGA HOPE Ambassador for the Northern Ohio PGA (NOPGA). Lashunda has held several positions over the years with stops in South Carolina, Virginia and Texas during her military days, plus she was a substitute teacher working with at-risk students at St. Vincent Charity Hospital. As the PGA HOPE Ambassador, she will recruit new Veterans into the program, and encourage them to take advantage of all the services offered through the program. PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) mission is to introduce and teach golf to military veterans and first responders with an emphasis on enhancing their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.
