Although the Selection Meetings were held virtually, COVID couldn’t stop 23 Ohio Caddies from earning scholarships to either Miami, or Ohio State University.
Last month the Ohio Evans Scholarship Selection Meeting awarded these deserving students the opportunity to receive full-ride college educations estimated at $120,000 for a four-year degree.
Elyria, Inverness, Sylvania, Toledo, Scioto, Western Hills, Hyde Park, Lakewood, Canterbury, Beechmont, Clovernook, Maketewah, and Moraine all combined to tender the 23 scholarships.
“Each of these deserving young students epitomizes what our Program has been about since its creation in 1930,” said WGA Chairman Kevin Buggy. “Their dedication, hard work and sacrifice is humbling, and we are honored to be able to help them pursue their dreams.”
