Bedford Hills Golf Club in Toledo has announced a new scoring APP for outings and group events at their club for 2018. They recently installed the technology to offer real time scoring, while an event is in progress.
VPAR is an APP that can be downloaded to any smart phone prior to the first tee shot being struck. As each group completes a hole, the scores can be recorded to the VPAR APP, which can be immediately viewed by all participants in the tournament.
VPAR even offers a GPS function to give yardage on the hole, to the pin, as well as, the carry over that tricky water hazard.
In addition, when all of the groups retire to the Bedford Hills Pavilion for the post round bragging, whining and celebration, scores can be immediately viewed on the 90” big screen. No more waiting around for the pro to write the scores on the big board. Real time scoring instantaneously.
