Mike Pickett, Director of Golf at StoneWater Golf Club in Cleveland, has parlayed his artistic abilities into an appearance on Golf Channel for exceptional ability to carve pumpkins.
Pickett has always enjoyed drawing and creating art, but his real talents lay in creating beautiful and unusual pumpkin carvings around Halloween. It takes between 40-75 minutes to create one of his masterpieces and he estimates he currently finishes approximately 200 carvings annually.
As his artwork has gained popularity, he has started a new business, Illuminated Carves, to take orders and sell his works of art.
Pickett appeared on the October 31st edition of Golf Channel’s Morning Drive.
