When Richard Kenny gained control of Forest View Lanes in 2014, he envisioned a modern entertainment facility with something for the entire family. Two AboutGolf simulators were added that allow golfers to choose from over 60 famous courses. The kitchen has been completely remodeled and updated to offer a variety of menu options. Patrons can also choose from 48 craft beers on tap, plus watch every sporting event on multiple big screen televisions. For summer fun, Rich even expanded the outdoor volleyball complex that is a bee hive of activity on those long, hot summer days.
This is definitely not your father’s bowling alley. Forest View continues to add entertainment value for the entire family.
Golf
The AboutGolf simulators were installed in 2016 and offer a top-of-the-line golf experience. AboutGolf is a local company, housed in Maumee, known worldwide for their quality.
“Bowling and Golf go hand in hand. Many golfers also bowl in the winter months.” He told us, “Given the short outdoor golf season in southern Michigan, offering the golf simulators allows golfers to expand their season and still visit our location.”
Golfers can play a famous golf destination on the simulator, while ordering from the restaurant menu, or enjoy any of the 48 craft beers on tap. Forest View also maintains a complete wine selection, can make your favorite cocktail, or a signature drink.

The golf simulators are the perfect place for the serious golfer to practice in the winter, play a round with their buddies, or bring the family for a fun outing. The simulators also have 3 miniature golf courses and skee ball for the kids, which are a hit for birthday parties.
Restaurant
Forest View designed and built a new kitchen and now serves Certified Angus Beef burgers, prime ribs and steaks. The new kitchen is equipped with the latest grills, warmers and ovens to prepare food that will satisfy even the most discerning palate.
Chef David Harrison is constantly changing menu options and uses only the freshest ingredients to create his signature dishes, including delicious soups.
Three featured items currently are, Certified Angus Beef New York Strip Steaks, Blackened Salmon, on Quinoa and a delicious Chicken Parmesan Hoagie.

For night owls, Forest View’s restaurant and lounge are open until 2:30 AM every day of the week.

Craft Beers & Cocktails
Forest View installed a state-of-the-art tap system offering 48 Craft Beer varieties to whet your whistle. Included are many national brands, local beers, as well as, limited release, or specialty beers.
Growlers can now be fill for $10.00-$20.00 per fill for all beers (excluding limited releases, CBS, Dogfish 120 and Uber Blitzen, now on tap)
Regulars hang their own mug above the bar and use it every time they visit Forest View’s lounge.
There is always something new at Forest View. A tasting of bourbon and scotch flights allows every individual to find just the right spirit for their specific taste.
Forest View is also featuring Toledo Spirits line-up of craft cocktails and Strike Spirits house liquors, specific to bowling center liquor options.

Bowling
Forest View is completing a major overhaul of their Glow and Light show for the weekends with an all new light and sound system, with ten gigantic big screen televisions above the lanes, playing sports, music videos, Club keno, ChiveTV, plus social media posts will be displayed.
The new sound system will make you feel like a DJ is playing all your favorite tunes.
Forest View has open bowling available on the weekends from 11:30 AM until 2:30 AM every day. They also have open bowling during the week, 11:30 AM-5:00 PM and again after 9 :00 PM until 2:30 AM daily.
Various league options are available for pizza and pitcher leagues, adult-youth leagues, youth leagues and traditional leagues for Men, Women and Seniors.
Family & Corporate Events

Digital Wall
The newest addition at Forest View is the multi-media Digital Wall that is constantly scrolling current events and activities. Check for specials pricing, spin a wheel to win prizes, take a selfie with the photo booth, review flyers and current information. League members can check current standings sheets and request information, plus the information can be emailed or texted directly to your phone.

Family FUN!!
Golfers can bowl a few frames, enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the chef, in the newly renovated kitchen, plus hit a few balls to keep their golf game sharp for warmer weather. Kids will find several activities to keep them occupied and mom can enjoy a few hours out of the house.
For your convenience Forest View will be open on Christmas Eve, as well as, Christmas Day, 2:00 PM-2:30 AM, both days.
Open bowling will be available every day through the winter break for the kids.
