Four young women from Ohio qualified for the U.S. Girls’ Junior Amateur. Ashley Zi-Tong Au from Westerville, Pina Pipatjarasgit from Sylvania, Kristin Jamieson from Hillsboro and Madison Spiess from New Albany all made it through the qualifier held at Country Club of Hudson.
The U.S. Girls’ Junior Amateur was held at Poppy Hills Golf Club on the Monterrey Peninsula in California. Yealimi Noh of Concord, California outlasted Alex Pano from Florida to win the final match.
