We are not sure if this is the beginning of a new trend, or simply a slight correction, but Golf Datatech is reporting that rounds of golf played in September, 2021 were 8% lower than September, 2020. Only California reported an increase of 2.8% for the month.
Even with above average temperatures and lower than normal rain accumulations, rounds played decreased in the month of September.
Year to date for 2021, all rounds played in the United States are 8.4% higher than 2020.
