Katherine Roberts was selling office furniture in Las Vegas, when she realized her calling in life was to promote fitness for golf through Yoga and exercise.
She parlayed a gig with the Golf Channel for the first Big Break into a golf fitness enterprise for professional golf’s elite. She has helped train: Davis Love, David Duval, Ricky Barnes, Chad Campbell, Kenny Perry and Fred Couples.
As she became known through her fitness segments on Golf Channel, she also gained notice by baseball executives. Throwing a baseball is an abnormal body movement, similar to the golf swing and injuries are a common problem for top baseball players.
In addition to golf fitness, she now trains major league baseball players Yoga and Pilates, during spring training, to help reduce injury, plus add flexibility and strength for eight MLB teams.
Katherine has authored two books on fitness for golfers, “Yoga for Golfers” and a joint effort with Top-100 Golf Instructor, Hank Haney, “Swing Flaws and Fitness Fixes.”
She has even built her business into an international endeavor, by certifying Yoga for Golf Instructors in 24 countries on five continents. She often addresses large groups or corporate gatherings on fitness topics.
Katherine understands the complexity of the golf swing and the kinetic movements necessary to maintain a fluid, injury-free swing. In a video interview with Back 9 Report TV, she talks about the importance of the feet, hips and back in the golf swing.
Katherine Roberts has used her knowledge of body motion and the golf swing to create a fitness regimen that will help every golfer, man or woman.
