The Northern Ohio PGA’s Selection Committee has named Matt Rutland as Director of Competitions, beginning January 6. Rutland has been a NOPGA member since 2011, serving at Westwood Country Club for nine years.
He began his career at The Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach, SC in 2006 with stops at Haig Point Golf Club in Hilton Head, SC and Sycamore Creek Country Club in Springboro, Ohio.
Rutland will manage the Section’s Tournament schedule, in addition to, the Junior Golf Program, as well as, assist with Member Services. Matt brings years of event management experience plus his Rules Certification to the Northern Ohio PGA and Northern Ohio PGA Junior Tournaments.
