Brian Tolnar, PGA Golf and Recreation Director at Mill Creek MetroParks, has announced that Mill Creek Golf Course in Boardman will host a regional qualifier for the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship, August 2-3, 2021, for the second consecutive year.
Tolnar is excited to have the qualifier return to Mill Creek,
“This event hits our mission statement to provide park, recreational, educational, and open space facilities of regional significance.”
The Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship Series includes two qualifying stages, local and regional culminating in the 54-Hole National Championship at Koasati Pines Golf Club in Louisiana and airs on Golf Channel.
Currently in its second year, the junior tournament is open to all players.
