Northern Ohio PGA Announces Changes

The Northern Ohio PGA announced the retirement of long-time Executive Director Dominic Antenucci and Junior Golf Director Eileen Antenucci.

During their tenure with the Northern Ohio PGA, the pair strengthened and grew the Section, and embodied its mission to promote interest and enjoyment in the game of golf. 

Among many other notable achievements, the Antenucci’s founded the Kenny Novak Tour and Championship (now the NOPGA Junior Tour), plus grew the Northern Ohio PGA Junior Program to more than 600 members.

David Griffith, NOPGA tournament director of 20 years, has been named the Section’s new Executive Director to replace Antenucci.

Griffith will oversee section operations, as well as, all programs and services. He will work closely with section officers and the board of directors to define and guide the Section’s vision for growing the game throughout Northern Ohio as well as supporting its more than 450 members.

Lynne Plaisance, former NOPGA office manager for 26 years, is stepping into the role of Director of Operations and Membership Services. She will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the section.

Matt Rutland, former Head Professional at Westwood Country Club, has been named Director of Competitions.

Brad Sims has been promoted to Junior Golf Director of Player Development. Sims has been Junior Golf Tournament Director for the past two years, and is now responsible for creating, scheduling, and managing all Junior Tour events.
