Ohio Teens Excel at Women’s Amateur Four-Ball

New Albany High School Teammates Make It to Semi-Finals of Women’s Amateur Four-Ball

Kelly Hollenbaugh and Anna Ritter members of the New Albany Girls Golf Team were the 27th seed after the medal round of the USGA Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship in Puerto Rico. They made it all the way to the semi-finals before being defeated 4-3 by the eventual winners, Thienna Huynh and Sara Im.

 

Gianna Clemente from Warren Back in USGA Women’s Four-Ball

Fourteen-year-old Gianna Clemente from Warren, Ohio once again teamed with 15-year-old Avery Zweig, from McKinney Texas, in the USGA Women’s Four-Ball Championship.

The pair reached the semifinals last year as the youngest team in the field at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas, before falling to eventual champions Savannah Barber and Alexa Saldana.

This year they made it through medal play as the 8th seed, but were defeated in the first round of match play by Michelle Ho and Michelle Woo.
