The cold and wet weather has severely slowed the amount of golf that can be played in the northern section of the country, but hopefully spring will actually arrive soon.

We have been traveling to various parts of the country and have been posting new videos to Back 9 Report TV on Roku and Back9Report.com. We hope you will take time to catch up on our latest productions.

We recently spent time in Sebring for the ING Spring Conference and interacted with new equipment manufacturers, as well as, golf industry travel leaders. We really enjoyed our short time in Sebring, just south of Orlando, and fully intend to head back that way soon.

In this issue, Ed Travis explains why you may want to replace your hybrid clubs with a new long iron from New Ground Golf. We also highlight a few other new products that were impressive.

As summer approaches, it’s time to think about golf trips UP NORTH. Len Ziehm takes us on a visit to Mackinac Island and the wonderous golf that awaits on that historic island.

We want to congratulate Len for the recent announcement that he will be inducted into the Illinois Golf Hall of Fame in October. Ohio Golf Journal is fortunate to have his experience and wonderful writing in our monthly editions.

For more golf travel, new contributor David Daubert, tells us about a fantastic club he found in northern Georgia, Cateechee Club. Mike May writes about The Donald Ross Club at French Lick, plus we have a piece about a trip we took on the Georgia Golf Trail and Jekyll Island.

I know it’s cold now, but it will be very hot, very soon. Be sure to stay cool and drink plenty of fluids, while you are on the golf course. Check out our list of tips for preventing dehydration on the golf course.

If it ever stops raining, you can catch me on the Back 9.
