In March Innisbrook’s Copperhead Course plays host to the Valspar Championship, a stop on the PGA TOUR. The resort is located in Palm Harbor, Florida, slightly northwest of Tampa, but it’s so much more than just the famed Copperhead course and its treacherous ‘Snake Pit.’
The ‘Snake Pit’ is a collection of three holes beginning with No. 16, named the Moccasin. It is a 460-yard par-4 and combined with No. 17, the Rattler, a 215-yard par-3 that plays slightly uphill, plus No. 18, dubbed Copperhead, a finishing par-4 that can be stretched to 445 yards, provide a true test, especially when the pros are trying to win a trophy and a big check at the Valspar Championship.
Golf
There are three other championship courses at Innisbrook, offering something to please every golfer. 
Larry Packard designed the Island Course, the first of the four courses to open in 1970. The Copperhead was actually the second Packard design at Innisbrook, but he spent his entire life tinkering to create one of the premier courses in America. The North and South Courses were added to make a total of four 18-hole courses at the resort, to provide a variety of options and tee times.
If your game is not quite tournament quality, one of the highlights of Innisbrook not to be missed is Director of Instruction, Dawn Mercer. She has been at Innisbrook for over 30 years and will help improve your game. The Innisbrook Institute of Golf has been recognized as one of the Top 25 Golf Schools in the nation.

Tennis
Innisbrook also features a complete tennis facility with 11 Har-Tru courts, of which seven are lighted for night play. Three racquet ball courts are also located in the tennis club. Tennis has a rich history at Innisbrook with world renowned tennis instruction, as well as, tournaments and programs.
Guests can book court time and have access to the full-service Pro Shop, with top-ranked instruction from the professional instructors for a wide range of clinics, drills and socials.

Swimming/Pools
