Steve Parker, a past president of the Northern Ohio PGA and Director of Golf at Portage Country Club, was inducted into the Northern Ohio PGA Hall-of-Fame last month. Parker has held numerous positions within the PGA throughout his professional career and is currently a PGA District 5 Director.
He began his professional career in 1996 after twice earning all-Mid-American Conference honors at Kent State.
He is a former winner of the 1985 Ohio Junior Championship, 2022 Senior Toledo Open, 2017 Denny Shute Senior Match Play, and the 1996 NOPGA Assistant’s Championship. He was a five-time qualifier to the PGA Professional Championship and a two-time qualifier to the PGA Senior Professional Championship.
