Three Ohio Women Compete in Senior LPGA Championship

The third annual Senior LPGA Championship was held October 14-16 on the Pete Dye Course at French Lick Resort in Southern Indiana. Three former LPGA Tour players from Ohio, Tammie Green, Cheryl Fox and Susie Redman were in the field representing the Buckeye State.

Tammie Green was the LPGA Rookie of the Year in 1987. She won seven events, including one major during her career.

Susie Redman first joined the LPGA Tour in 1985. During her career had 18 top-10 finishes and earned $1.2 million.

Cheryl Fox is the Director of Golf at Fostoria Country Club and was a sponsor’s invitation to the Senior LPGA Championship.

Redman finished T-31, Green T-36 and Fox was T-44.
