The Veteran Golfers Association is committed to promoting the game of golf to veterans and their family members. The VGA develops programs that allow members to compete, socialize, and remain physically active through the game of golf.
The Veterans Golf Association (VGA) is an international golf organization introducing the game of golf to military veterans and their families. Through local inter-club league play, tournaments, and national qualifiers, they reinforce integrity, respect and perseverance through the game of golf. Additionally, the VGA offers family oriented activities that will help veterans and their family members increase the amount of quality time spent together, promote physically active, plus community involvement. The VGA held a series of 12 sub-regional tournaments around the country last year. Top finishers in each were invited to compete in four Super Regional Championships held at Harbor Shores in Michigan, Pinehurst, North Carolina, Golf Galloway in New Jersey and Morgan Run Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, California. The 2017 VGA Championship was held in October at Fallen Oak Golf Club in Biloxi, Mississippi. Army veteran SPC Ethan Heim won the Men’s competition and Major Linda Jeffrey USAF was the Ladies champion. Here is a complete list of the 2017 winners:

The 2018 Battle at the Bay VGA Championship will be held at historic Olympic Club in San Francisco, host site of the 2012 U.S. Open Championship. Olympic Club was also recently awarded the 20128 PGA Championship and the 2032 Ryder Cup.
