Men

The Xavier Minutemen compete in the Big East Conference. Head Coach Brian McCants, previously an assistant at Indiana and Kansas, is in his second season at Xavier.

The Minutemen are in a rebuilding mode with four freshmen on the team.

In the team’s first start of the 2018 Spring Season, one of those talented freshmen, Garrett Wood led the Musketeers, tying for 10th after posting rounds of 67-69-69.

Xavier will round out the Spring schedule with visits to Pinehurst, Kingsmill, Purdue and Ohio State, before the Big East Championship at the end of April.

Xavier Women

Breanna Patz is a Xavier alumna, who earned three All-Colonial Athletic Association honors during her time in school. She took over the reins as the Head Women’s Coach in 2015.

The Xavier Women’s Team had a very successful Fall campaign with four top-10 finishes in five events.

Thus far this Spring they collected a runner-up at the Ball State Sunshine Invitational in Port St. Lucie, Florida and finished 10th out of 17 teams in the Rio Verde Invitational in Arizona.

The ladies will have three more tournaments to prepare for the Big East Championship to be held at Callawassie Island Golf Course in South Carolina.
