The Heritage was designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus, whilst the International was created by Ron Kirby, under the Jack Nicklaus Design banner. The London Golf Club has hosted numerous European Tour events. I also dined at one of Kent’s top pubs, the George & Dragon in 3ANDWICH 4HIS ANCIENT PUBÚRST opened for business in 1446, 46 years before Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492. The George and Dragon is a traditional pub WITH AN OPEN ÚREPLACE LOW beams, and a range of local ales, plus great food. One night of my journey was spent in the old-style seaside hotel, The Marine in Whitstable. The views out to sea, while enjoying a delicious Full English Breakfast, were nothing short of jaw-dropping. Once American golfers have THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE Golf in Kent , the word will spread about the fantastic golf opportunities in this part of England and more American golfers will follow. Of course, don’t forget to ÚNISH YOUR ROUND AT 2OYAL 3T George’s with a par at the last to win The Open Championship. 6th Hole at Royal Cinque Ports Photo Credit: Chris Barnard Ohio Golf Journal
