Golf Yes, Sylvania has seen more THAN ITS SHARE OF GOLÚNG HISTORY AND JUST LIKE A ÚNE wine continues to improve with age. It is a growing and vibrant club that is looking to the future to meet the needs of its members. A full driving range, short- game practice area and putting green helps golfers reduce their handicap. Head Professional Jason Stuller has been on the staff at Sylvania for 15 years. He oversees a full golf calendar, which includes events for the members, as well as, an active junior golf program. One of the more popular tournaments last year was the Sylvania Cup, which featured a Ryder Cup-like format. Two 12-man teams were chosen for thematchplayevent.One team featured club members under the age of 44 pitted against the more senior members 45 years of age and up. The Sylvania Cup was very well received, and the membership is already making plans for the 2018 edition. The membership also supports the Evans Scholars Foundation, which provides college scholarships for deserving caddies. Seven former caddies are currently enrolled in college and they have funded 69 Evans Ohio Golf Journal
