Spotleson Wins 3rd Ohio Women’s Mid-Am Title

They have only been holding the Ohio Women’s Mid-Am Championship for five years, but this year Suzi Spotleson defeated Brit Platt to win it for the third time.    In June Spotleson also won the Senior Division of the inaugural Northeast Ohio Women’s Amateur Championship hosted by the Northern Ohio Golf Association.  

Cara Heisterkamp Wins 2021 Ohio Junior Girls Championship

Ohio State’s Max Moldovan Sets NEW Scoring Record in Southern Amateur

Two-time OHSAA State Champion and now a sophomore at Ohio State, Max Moldovan shattered a 28-year-old scoring record held by Justin Leonard to win the Southern Amateur at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi.  Moldovan fired rounds of 64-68-65-67 and didn’t make a bogey in the final 36 holes. His 20-under par performance bested the previous scoring record by six shots.
