Shaker Heights Country Club hosted the Northern Ohio PGA’s annual Shoot-Out at Shaker. 32 NOPGA Professionals were broken down into 16 teams of two to play a round robin match play event.
Four pods of 4 teams competed in three different nine hole matches to see who would advance to the Shoot-Out.
The format for the Shoot-Out Finals was alternate shot, with the team making the highest score on each hole being eliminated.
The team of Mike Stone and Darin de Lelys outlasted the rest of the field to become the 2021 Shaker Shoot-Out Champions. Darin made a clutch 20-footer on the second shootout hole to make it to the final hole, then Mike hit an iron to the middle of the green to set up an easy 2-putt for the win over Jim Troy and Steve Bordner.
