Bo Hoag on Web.com Tour 
Former Buckeye standout, Bo Hoag has been making cuts this year on the Web.com Tour, but still has some work to do to earn a PGA Tour card for 2020. In 12 starts this season, he has missed one cut and has five top 25 finishes.
The Columbus native has played full time on the Web.com Tour since 2017 and currently sits at No. 38 on The 25 list. With 10 more regular season events remaining, plus the three Final Series tournaments, Hoag has plenty of time to move up in the ranking.

Jillian Hollis Near the Top of Symetra Tour’s Road to LPGA Ranking
Jillian Hollis from Rocky River is currently 4th in the Symetra Tour’s Road to the LPGA rankings. The top 10 on the Symetra Tour money list at the end of the season receive LPGA Tour Cards for next year.
Jillian is in her second year on the Symetra Tour and is making it count. Thus far in seven starts she has three top 10 finishes, including a win at the IOA Championship in March.
With total earnings this year of $67,000, she is in good position to earn one of the LPGA Tour cards for 2020.

Golf Ain’t Easy
Just ask Marissa Steen, who has struggled since turning professional in 2012 with bogies and injury, but recently qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open.
Marissa Steen turned professional after graduating from the University of Memphis in 2012. Injuries have caused her to bounce back and forth between the Symetra and LPGA Tours.
Ankle surgery in April last year force her to take time away from the golf course and reflect on her career.
She decided she was not ready to quit and set about identifying the areas of her game that needed improvement. Hours of practice cured her short game issues and a T-8 at the ISPS Handa, at the beginning of the year, gave her new confidence and a feeling that she belonged on the LPGA Tour.
Things have not gone well for the Westchester, Ohio native since Australia, however. Four missed cuts in six starts and earnings of $50,000 for the year, place her at No. 84 on the Race to the CME Globe ranking.
Playing in the 36-hole Houston Qualifier for the 2019 U.S. Women’s Open Steen carded a 141, which placed her fourth and the first alternate. Subsequent withdrawals of exempt players, Michelle Wie and Brittany Lincicome, meant Steen was able to tee it up in a major.
